Kids Activities

Port Washington's Maritime Heritage Festival is a great and affordable place for kids to spend the day with their families. Activities are all interactive and in an area designated just for them! After they've built a wooden boat and raced in the gutter races (with Home Depot), created maritime arts & crafts projects, participated in interactive Olympics (with Physical Enhancement Services) and talked with "Coastie the Robot" from the U.S. Coast Guard, on to the rest of the festival! Don't forget to take the Lakeside Spirit Guided Harbor Tours and tour the Peacemaker and other vessels included in the Deck Tours this year. Top the day off with food, beverages and great music! Don't forget on Saturday afternoon to cheer for your favorite cardboard boat to sink or float at the 4th Annual Cardboard Boat Regatta!    The kids area is located at Coal Dock Park right near the Ferris Wheel!
